When I took it up again I couldn't remember a single note and I asked my teacher to treat me like a complete beginner, but it soon came back and I was Grade 2 standard within a month. And it's different when you are older. Thank you for popping over. xMrs Tiggywinklehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18262841220840086776noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-201916595736418385.post-20288367719037952692015-03-10T11:35:09.417+00:002015-03-10T11:35:09.417+00:00Hello Mrs Tiggywinkle I've popped over from ja...Hello Mrs Tiggywinkle I've popped over from jan's blog to say hi. You took me right back to the 70's with your post. I too played Clarinet at that time and I had a Boosey & Hawkes Clarinet. My mother worked for Boosey & Hawkes at that time and we had all sorts of instruments but it was the Clarinet I took to at least for a while. Unfortunately I stupidly didn't keep mine and I often wonder whether I would still be able to carry a tune albeit badly after all this time. May be it can something I take back up when I retire which isn't for some time yet unlike our lucky Jan.
